Meet Haze 

Hi, I’m the artist behind Hazel-Dawn Illustrations and Comfort Through Chaos - my creative space where I bring joy to others through custom artwork, especially pet portraits, Chronic Illness awareness products, personalised gifts, and heartfelt illustrations. I work primarily on my iPad using Procreate, pouring love and care into every piece I create.

As someone living with multiple chronic health conditions - including Polyposis, Chronic Fatigue Syndrome (CFS/ME), POTS, Raynaud’s, Restless Legs Syndrome, Chronic Migraine, Fibromyalgia, suspected Lupus (SLE), Hypermobility, Gastroparesis, Arthritis, ADHD and a permanent stoma - I understand how important it is to find moments of light in tough times. My art is both my passion and my purpose, helping me connect with others who appreciate meaningful, personalised creations

Meet Sharon

I am Sharon, co founder of Mightie Makers but also chief creator of all things LUSH at Gert Lush Designs and Comfort Through Chaos. I am an eclectic little maker based in Bristol UK (hence the business name!) I live with various chronic health conditions like Restless Leg Syndrome, Sleep Apnoea, Lymphedema, Type 2 Diabetes and Osteoarthritis plus I have lived with depression and anxiety since my late teens. I have also recently been diagnosed with Chronic Spontaneous Urticaria and Angioedema. Because of my health conditions I tend to be housebound quite often so I started over 15 years ago to use my creative skills to keep me busy and sane whilst bringing some happiness to others.

I have a love affair with my sewing machine and use this to make products that make medical devices and mobility devices feel a little bit less clinical as we all need something pretty to brighten up the conditions we all live with
