Treat balls are fun enrichment activities for your pet, providing mental stimulation as they snuffle & search for the treats you’ve hidden! This small treat ball is approx 4-5” in diameter and is most suited to cats, rabbits, guinea pigs etc (there is a larger size available for dogs)

I handcraft the treat balls from 100% anti-pil polar fleece fabric and don’t use plastic or metal ties that can be found at the centre of some similar products on the market.

The great news is they’re washable, just put them inside a pillowcase and pop them in the washing machine at 30 degrees, or hand wash if you prefer 🙂

My Story

Hi! I’m Kat! Thanks for stopping by. I’ve had ME/CFS for 30+ years and in 2018, due to worsening symptoms, had to stop work and leave the Company I’d worked for as an Accountant for 28 years. It was a difficult time and I felt a bit lost for a while.

I started making enrichment toys for our puppy ‘Monty’ as a way to refocus. It was an activity I could do sitting down, in very short blocks of time (to limit any impact on my health) and I got such a lift from seeing him happily playing with the finished product! I made gifts for pets of friends and family, then treat mats for other pups at Monty’s training class and soon word spread and ‘The Crafty Cavapoo’ was born! 😊

I feel so blessed to have my little business and for all the support I’ve received along the way & the connections I’ve made with my Customers. I love handcrafting the enrichment products (and also now door wreaths!) and it never fails to make me smile when I receive reviews and photos from my Customers of their pets playing with the items I’ve made!
