I have handmade this fabric wall hanging with hand embroidered and appliqued cacti.

I have made this wall hanging using floral cotton fabric. I’ve used green felt to make the applique cacti, which I have hand embroidered and hand sewn onto the fabric.
Then I added two wooden dowels ,which ive sewn in, and strung it with natural jute string.
Backed with thick double sided interfacing and white cotton fabric.
Measures 23 by 22cm, hanging length of jute string 17 cm.Overall length, including jute string 40 cm
A unique wall hanging that noone else will have.

My Story
I became chronically ill 17 years ago and 11 years ago I had to give up the job that I loved due to chronic illnesses.
With lots of hours to fill and not able then to do much physically I turned to crafting.
Over the years I've dabbled in many crafts, but embroidery especially has become my passion.
I also like to decoupage and hand decorate items and I also dabble in a little felting!
Crafting is literally my therapy!
I love creating beautiful things to sell and hopefully bring some joy to others too!
I live with chronic pain and fatigue, and numerous other symptoms due to Fibromyalgia and Degenerative Disc Disease. I also have Urticarial Vasculitus, Hypothyroidism and Depression.
