For many years, my life has been shaped by ongoing health challenges. After years of living with adenomyosis, I finally had a hysterectomy in 2025. While it brought an end to one chapter, it also marked the beginning of another as I continued navigating ADHD, FND hypermobility, ongoing joint pain and the search for answers about my health.
Living with chronic health conditions has taught me that self-care isn’t always about long spa days or complicated routines. More often, it’s found in the small moments: lighting a wax melt while tidying the house, taking a relaxing bath after a difficult day, using products that make everyday routines feel a little more special, or simply taking a few quiet minutes to breathe.
Making things with my hands became one of those moments for me. Creating products, slowing down, and focusing on comfort and the senses helped me feel more grounded when life felt uncertain. What began as a way to care for myself gradually grew into a business.
The Witch’s Hearth was born from that journey. As both my health and the business evolved, it became clear that my focus wasn’t on elaborate rituals, but on helping people find comfort, calm and small moments of wellbeing that fit into real life.
That evolution led to The Inner Hearth – a space centred on comfort, reflection and realistic self-care. Building this business continues to give me purpose alongside my own health journey, and I hope the products and guidance I create help others find those same gentle moments of comfort, whatever challenges they may be facing.
