My Story
Emma Major is a blind wheelchair user living with an ever growing list of chronic illnesses including debilitating arthritis and long covid whilst preserving her mental health and discovering what it means to be AuDHD. But beyond all that she's an internationally exhibited artist and published poet.
Emma has twelve collections of poetry currently published, with another five in various stages of development, some illustrated by her art. She writes and creates art every day on various themes including disability, grief, mental health, faith and climate change.
Emma is passionate about encouraging people in their creativity, especially those who live with disability, chronic illness and mental health challenges. By sharing her creativity online she invites others to engage with their emotions creatively.
