Handmade Creepy Moon Earrings. Handmade Halloween Jewellery.

Hi, welcome to Sunshine and Tornadoes, my name is Catherine and I am the hands behind the beads.  My jewellery making journey started in 2012 when I made myself some earrings for a night out.  I have dabbled in most jewellery making techniques over the last 13 years and my favourite things to do are adjustable bracelets, Y2K style jewellery, gemstones, beads and glass cabochons.  My favourite thing to make is Earrings, so you will see a lot of them in my shop.

I have Hypermobility Spectrum Disorder, and was diagnosed in 2018 with Fibromyalgia followed last year by ME/CFS, Chronic Pain and chronic Eustachian Tube Dysfunction.  I also suffer with Migraine and Trigeminal Neuralgia.  I work part time in the NHS and am a carer for my son who has a rare genetic disorder, autism and ADHD.

I find that spending time designing and creating my jewellery helps me to relax and I really do do a happy dance when someone else likes my makes enough to buy them.  I only design, make and wear items that I genuinely love. All items are hand made by me, and the majority are one off designs.
