Creating Product Options and Personalization in Mighty Makers
Objective
This SOP outlines the steps to create product options and personalization fields for products listed in Mighty Makers, ensuring that customer preferences are captured effectively.
Key Steps
Step 1: Access the Product Listing Form 1:03
- Navigate to the product listing forms in Mighty Makers.
- Scroll down to the section labeled ‘Product Options and Personalization’.
Step 2: Add Image Upload Option 1:10
- Click on ‘Add New Product Option’.
- Select ‘File Upload’ for customers to upload an image.
- Title it ‘Please upload a picture of yourself’.
- Mark this field as required (mandatory for product creation).
Step 3: Add Clothing Options 2:34
- Click ‘Add New Product Option’ again.
- Title it ‘Clothes’.
- Allow customers to choose multiple options (e.g., t-shirt, dress, trousers).
- Mark this field as required.
Step 4: Add Clothing Color Preferences 4:24
- Click ‘Add New Product Option’.
- Choose ‘Short Note Personalization Text Box’.
- Title it ‘Clothing Colours’.
- This field can be optional and does not need to be required.
Step 5: Add Pet Option 5:52
- Click ‘Add New Product Option’.
- Title it ‘Optional Pet (state type, breed, and color)’.
- Mark this field as optional and set an additional cost (e.g., £5).
Step 6: Add Mobility Aids Option 7:13
- Click ‘Add New Product Option’.
- Title it ‘Optional Mobility Aids’.
- Allow customers to select only one option (e.g., manual wheelchair, electric wheelchair).
- Set an additional cost for each option.
Step 7: Group Product Options for Categories 11:32
- Go to ‘Settings’ and then ‘Product Options’.
- Click ‘Add New Add-On’.
- Name the group (e.g., ‘Children’s Socks’).
- Specify the priority and select the relevant product category.
Step 8: Add Size Options for Children’s Socks 12:36
- Click ‘Add New Product Option’.
- Title it ‘Children’s Sock Size’.
- Use radio buttons for size selection (e.g., kids 9-12, kids 12-3).
- Mark this field as required.
