I live with chronic illnesses and disabilities, including Fibromyalgia, Arthritis, Functional Neurological Disorder and complex PTSD. Some days are harder than others, and life often has to be taken at a slower, more careful pace.

Crafting has become so much more than a hobby for me. It gives me focus, purpose and something positive to pour my energy into, even on the days when my body or mind makes things difficult. Creating helps me feel grounded, useful and connected to something brighter.

A Dot of Happy was built from that little spark - the idea that small things can still make a big difference. Through my badges, needle minders, pocket tokens and keyrings, I hope to create thoughtful little gifts that bring comfort, encouragement, reassurance or simply a smile when it is needed most.
