My Story
This my story late 90's I was not well, i had Fibromyalgia, which then I lost my job at the hospital. Had many different jobs to keep my mental health at bay.
in 2009 I got a job with adult placement (looking after adults with learning disability) in your own home. I got a young lady who had just come out of fostering. she lived with me for 13 years, she is now in a flat on her own. now in her early 30's.
So in April 2024 I had a stroke, I was in hospital for 2 months. When I got home it was hard. I had reduced sensation down my left side. 2 years on left side is a lot better but still not right. Walking is a problem get tired very easily. 2025 had an op on my eye .
I have gone back to my hobby which was machine embroidery. I hope I can make some people happy by seeing the embroidery.
