My Story

Hi, I’m Megan, and this is a little glimpse into the person behind the business. I’m a proud mum to two incredible neurodiverse children, each with their own amazing story. They inspire me every single day. Being their carer hasn’t always been easy—there have definitely been challenges—but I wouldn’t change a thing. In fact, most of the products I create are inspired by them and what’s worked for us as a family.

I’ve always believed that everyone deserves an equal opportunity to communicate. That belief has guided me not only in my work but also in life. On this journey, I also discovered something about myself: I’m neurodiverse too. Realizing this later in life has been life-changing. Understanding who I am has helped me finally address the mental health struggles I’ve carried for years.

Back in 2020, just before the pandemic, I was at the fittest and healthiest I’d ever been. I was training to become a firefighter, working as a delivery driver, and full of excitement about the future. Then Covid hit. After two bouts of illness and a short hospital stay, I was diagnosed with Long Covid—a condition I still live with today. It’s not something I share lightly because there’s so much misunderstanding and stigma around it, but it changed my life, physically and mentally, and set me on a completely new path.

Covid redirected my journey, but it also led me to a place of deeper understanding—of myself, my family, and the values that drive my work. Everything I do now comes from that place: a belief in inclusivity, communication, and creating solutions that actually help real families like mine.
