My Story
Hello, I’m Char. I have multiple chronic illnesses - Fibromyalgia, M.E(Chronic Fatigue Syndrome), Vestibular Migraine and Functional Neurological Disorder. I am also hard of hearing due to being deaf in my right ear and use a Bone Anchored Hearing Aid. On top on those I have Anxiety, Bipolar and ADHD. My disability is dynamic, which means that it fluctuates over time. Every day is different and I never know how I am going to be. I’m an ambulatory wheelchair user and also use a stick and walker.
In February 2025, I went on sick from my job in a care home due to worsening physical health. Unfortunately as my mobility has decreased, I was unable to return. I’ve always loved crafting and making things, so getting into bracelet making was a natural thing for me! I decided to start selling them and it’s been really fun to create custom designs for people.
I started to make pride flag bracelets and pronouns bracelets which became my most popular products. From there I decided to niche down and focus on creating cute and colourful queer jewellery for LGBTQIA+ folks! I myself am Demisexual, Panromantic and Non Binary. My pronouns are They/Them.
