This card has been made using the Shabby Art Boutique “Vintage Doll House” kit

Card size 5”x7” with white matching envelope

I covered the base of the card with a patch work effect of floral paper, cream, pink and white pattern and a damask style pattern. I have hand cut the little pink jacket and the romper suit. In the bottom right hand corner of the card I hand cut an image of a rabbit. In the top left hand corner of the card I hand cut a part of the kit with the word Play and a button image this also has a “Precious” word and I have die cut a silver New Baby greeting and attached it to the bottom of the card.

The card will be packed in a recycled cellophane bag and then in a board backed envelope.

My Story

I retired from the NHS at the end of 2011 and I spent the following 18 months with my Mom. I cared for her during her last few months and sadly she died in August 2013. I found my crafting helped me to cope with the stress and anxiety that followed.
