Overview of the Collection
The 1940s Decade Collection reflects resilience, care, and quiet creativity in the face of limitation. Ration Book draws on the resourcefulness of the era, where thoughtful use of colour and materials became part of daily life.

The Decades Collection was commissioned by Sheffield Millennium Gallery as part of the exhibition Colours, exploring how colour tells stories across time. This design brings together military green, deep navy, and soft blush pink to reflect balance, restraint, and understated beauty rooted in the 1940s.

As part of the dopamine dressing jewellery movement, these earrings use grounded tones and gentle contrast to create a sense of calm, stability, and quiet confidence through what you wear.

Welcome to My Shop

My Story

A few years ago, my life hit an unexpected pause. Long Covid left me exhausted, foggy, and frustrated. On top of that, living with ADHD and generalised anxiety disorder meant my mind never truly rested, even when my body had to. I’d been taught that productivity defined my worth — but my health forced me to slow down.

At first, I felt guilty for resting. But in the quiet, I started making again. Playing with clay, colours, and textures became my therapy. Each earring, fidget, or tiny gift I made reminded me that creativity could be both gentle and powerful. I realised that “wasting time” wasn’t wasting at all — it was healing.

That was the beginning of Lollygag — a space built from my lived experience as a disabled creator, shaped by rest, joy, and authenticity. I design everything slowly, with intention and flexibility, because real life doesn’t fit into neat schedules. Chronic illness, neurodivergence, and fluctuating energy are part of my process — not obstacles to it.

As my work evolved, two clear strands emerged.
Lollygag Jewellery celebrates dopamine dressing — bold, colourful designs that express personality, joy, and confidence, especially for those of us who’ve ever felt invisible or “too much.”
Lollygag Gifts focuses on wellbeing — soothing fidgets, Moments of Joy Kits, and small sensory tools designed to bring calm and comfort to disabled and neurodivergent people.

Everything is handmade by me, with accessibility, compassion, and creativity at the heart of what I do. Lollygag is proof that creativity can thrive in all kinds of bodies and brains — and that slowing down doesn’t mean giving up; it means finding a new rhythm.

Why Lollygag?!

At Lollygag, I believe jewellery should be joyful, playful, and deeply personal. My dopamine dressing inspired jewellery is bold, colourful, and designed to lift your mood as much as your outfit. Handmade slowly and sustainably in Sheffield from polymer clay and glass beads, each piece is one of a kind — a little wearable burst of happiness that celebrates individuality and self-expression.

The name Lollygag carries its own quiet rebellion. To lollygag means to slow down, to drift, to waste a little time — but I see it as reclaiming time. It’s a reminder that rest, creativity, and daydreaming aren’t indulgences; they’re essential. Every earring, necklace, or bracelet I create is a small nudge to pause, play, and find joy in the present.
