Serenity-The Angel/Fairy, Mini-Presentation Gift Gonk, novelty decorative ornament.

 Hello I’m Debbie and I thought I’d introduce myself and welcome you to my Mightie Makers Shop where I sell OOAK and Bespoke Greetings Cards, Gift Items and Gonks - Handmade Especially for You by Debz🐝  

I have been a crafter for as long as I can remember and made my first Gonk back in the 70’s when I was only 10 years old. I used to knit and sew and made a lot of my children’s clothing when they were little and, when they got bigger,  I focussed my craft on cross stitch. Paper crafting and scrapbooking came a lot later when my fingers were not as good at sewing but I have been designing and making occasion cards for over 30 years and scrapbooking for 25 , learning new skills as I went along. I started designing, drawing up and then making the Gonks again during lockdown. I had a lot of stuff to recycle and I don’t like anything going to waste so put my crafty skills to good use and my Gonky Fellas were re-born! 

Anyone who knows me will know that I am mad about Bees 🐝 and Sunflowers 🌻  and yellow is my absolute favourite colour 💛. 

I am married to my wonderful hubby and I have two daughters,and a granddaughter, (I know … I don’t look old enough….right?! lol 😂). 

I was diagnosed with various forms of arthritis quite a number of years ago making my mobility deteriorate faster than it should for someone my age, on top of that I have hypothyroidism and I was also diagnosed with Fibromyalgia and CFS at the beginning of 2024 so crafting is not only my hobby but my therapy too and I try support mental health charities and those for the chronically ill 💚💜 🫶🏼

I’m happy to take on commissions as I enjoy the opportunity and challenge. 🥰
