My Story
Let’s get real.
I live with Type 2 diabetes, asthma, IBS, and polycystic ovaries—and eczema likes to drop by uninvited, just to keep things interesting. That’s the physical layer.
Mentally and emotionally? I carry the weight of Post-Traumatic Stress. It hit hard after five weeks in hospital with severe COVID pneumonia—two of those weeks in a coma, fighting for my life. What came after wasn’t just recovery—it was relearning how to live. Long COVID still lingers, and with it, I navigate anxiety and depression.
And then there’s my brain—wired with what I lovingly call my neurosparkle. I’m on a four-year wait for an official autism/ADHD diagnosis, but I already know my mind dances to its own rhythm. It brings challenges, yes—but also creativity, insight, and a whole new way of seeing the world.
This is me. Complex. Resilient. Still standing.
